Managing risk provides opportunity
After 30 years in energy, leading businesses from small startups to multi-billion-dollar operations, I am now focused on supporting companies that are mission-focused on the transition to energy that is truly sustainable. That’s energy that is affordable, reliable and resonant with climate and other natural capital factors. I understand the need for balance of demands of the world today, and therefore am ready to work on multiple solutions to make the apparently incongruent and complex work to benefit of all.
I bring technical, commercial and leadership skills to bear on governance, strategy, risk and financials. As a student of adaptive leadership, I work the biggest challenges we face from both technical and values perspectives in order to realize the triple bottom line of societal benefit, environmental stewardship and profit to investors.
I prefer to work from within an organization, having a vested interest in the outcome, so. Company Board and Advisory Group roles are best for me and those that I work with. While I enjoy learning and influencing learning on how we should go about the energy transition, I am even happier when I am in action.
